The fires have been going crazy here in Utah and the smoke has been filling the air. We decided to escape into the mountains for this family session early in the morning to catch a little break. There was still a little haze which just softened the sunrise and it was perfect! Best of luck...

Have you ever traveled to a different location and scheduled a photo shoot? Maybe one day I will be as adventurous as these guys! They are from Virginia and visiting Utah for a family reunion and wanted to schedule a session in the mountains.
Meet the Lewis family and the rooster that rules the nest is that little blonde haired boy. Soon he is going to share the crown with his new little sibling. Also, all these photos were taken in their backyard! Its beautiful and has so many different flowers and plants its the most amazing garden.
This is one strong Momma. Not only is she raising three beautiful children. But her oldest daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia back in October 2017. You can read more about their journey here. Always be sure to hold onto those who you love.

Oh the year is over. Always such a great time to create this blog post to see highlights from my sessions in the past year. It makes me extremely grateful to be able to do what I love and meet the people that I do. Cheers to 2017 and lets jump into 2018!
These grandkids were absolute champions taking photographs outside in the middle of December. Pretty much zero tears, everyone cooperated and the session went by in the blink of an eye. I love Christmas time and the opportunities we have to be with family. Thank you to the Gailey family for having me photograph them together.
