As 2024 winds down, I love reflecting on the year and what an amazing year it has been. We moved to Idaho Falls in 2022 and I feel like I’m finally getting my feet underneath me.
One of the major highlights this year was finally getting to explore and photograph around the majestic Teton Range, both on the Driggs and Jackson sides. I grew up visiting my extended family in Idaho and I love this mountain range. There’s something magical about the Tetons that makes you feel both small and incredibly connected to the natural world at the same time.
Fall was a crazy time! I went to Logan, UT for a day to attend Breanne Weston’s last Joy In Chaos workshop. She is an amazing family photographer and it was so fun to learn from her! I also squeezed in a quick weekend in Utah to photograph some of my favorite regular families! All to say September to November was super go, go, go!
I’m already looking forward to what next year will bring! The experiences and connections I’ve made this year are so special. I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love!
