Had an excellent time at this session so many fun little grandkids, the youngest being only about two weeks old. The only bummer after this session was stopping to do an errand, popping the trunk, and realizing that my backpack was taken. Crappy life lesson learned to always double-check and lock the car.
When Grandma and Grandpa are going on a mission, you gather your kids and grandkids and capture a photo. It was amazing to meet all these families. Those cousins have a strong love for one another. Not to toot my own horn, but I’m going to- look at all those smiles and eyes on me!...
Meet the Lewis family and the rooster that rules the nest is that little blonde haired boy. Soon he is going to share the crown with his new little sibling. Also, all these photos were taken in their backyard! Its beautiful and has so many different flowers and plants its the most amazing garden.

These grandkids were absolute champions taking photographs outside in the middle of December. Pretty much zero tears, everyone cooperated and the session went by in the blink of an eye. Taking pictures of another photographer is always a little nerve wrecking. But taking another photographer and their extended families photos is super intimidating. It is always grand when family comes together. There is always a lot of laughter and a little bit of chaos. But, it makes for a fulfilling time all around.
The best thing about summer is all the family time you get to spend together. These guys just got back from a few days in the Arches and Goblin Valley and the fun still continues! I mean who doesn’t want to end their vacation at a photoshoot!
