As a mom, I understand why it is hard to dedicate time and money towards family photographs. There are so many things that might take precedence, but here are my top three reasons why frequent family photographs should become your top priority.

First, moms get a chance to be in the pictures! Mothers are often behind the scenes making sure all the cogs are in place. Take advantage of the opportunity to dress up and capture your connection with your little ones.

Secondly, watching my kids grow I have frequently said to myself how “This stage is my favorite”, only to wait a few months, or years to discover that “No, this stage is my favorite!” Children are constantly changing, and having photographs become the memory of your lives as you grow together.

Third, right now is the perfect season for family photographs. You do not need to lose those few extra pounds or have fancy designer clothes. Stop waiting for the perfect time to have photos taken and just embrace the season you are in.

As you look back at these memories throughout the years, you will be able to reminisce about how lucky and blessed you and your family are.
