Peterson – Orem, UT

Babies on black and white film is probably the best combo. Better than spaghetti and meatballs, better than ice cream and chocolate sauce, better than anything else I can think of. Congrats to Amanda and their new little bundle of joy! https://www.instagram.com/amandagracephotography/

Wing – Bountiful, UT

Watching this family grow throughout the years has been pretty fantastic, it is almost like watching my own kids grow up! I often hear parents say how they wish they could freeze time and keep their kids little. But, I need to say that I feel the opposite. I love my growing kids, seeing their...

Green – Salt Lake City, UT

Coming back from maternity leave NEVER FELT SO GOOD! These cute little girls were the best way to ease my way back into work. They made my job so easy. It always amazes me how photographing other peoples families make me fall deeper in love with my own. Capturing their love for eachother and their...

Brown – Salt Lake City, UT

Every summer growing up we crammed into our family mini van and drove 12 hours to my Grandparents farm in Idaho. Those trips are some of my most cherished memories. I hope this summer you find tons of time to spend with your family. And while your together, let me know and I can photograph...

Mitchell – Salt Lake City, UT

I was super lucky and won a spot to Tracy Layne’s Master of Light class. We spent a few hours discussing the advantages and disadvantages to different light scenarios and then headed out to the Saltair to put our new tips to the test. All I need to say is that from now on, I will...

My Biggest Photography Fail

MY BIGGEST PHOTOGRAPHY FAIL Four years ago I decided to take a leap, well actually a pretty big leap. I applied to be a vendor at the Bijou Market, a local craft fair in Provo, UT and I got in! So, I got to work. I REBRANDED. I got a fancy new logo and look...

Four Reasons I Love Photo Native

FOUR REASONS I LOVE PHOTO NATIVE Oh, Photo Native, where do I begin?! I have had the opportunity to attend this conference for the last three years and I love it! This is me, on my soapbox, tell you all the reasons why! FIRST, ASKING PEOPLE “WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND?” I have major FOMO....

Best of 2017

Oh the year is over. Always such a great time to create this blog post to see highlights from my sessions in the past year. It makes me extremely grateful to be able to do what I love and meet the people that I do. Cheers to 2017 and lets jump into 2018!

Gailey – Springville, UT

These grandkids were absolute champions taking photographs outside in the middle of December. Pretty much zero tears, everyone cooperated and the session went by in the blink of an eye. I love Christmas time and the opportunities we have to be with family. Thank you to the Gailey family for having me photograph them together.

Coombs – Provo, UT

Does anyone else feel like fall in Utah came and went by so quickly? Luckily we were able to snag the last little bit of colors up the canyon before everything went to brown and covered in snow.
